It is intended to use the Adamstown
model as the landmark project to set
the standard for future developments
of this scale.
This innovative development is ideally located
off the N4 and the new N4 Lucan interchange
on the Newcastle Road, beside Lucan and
within easy commuting distance from Dublin
City Centre. Close to The Paddocks, a new
District Centre will be developed beside the
railway station to become the central hub of
Adamstown itself.
Public open spaces will be professionally
landscaped with no less than 72 acres of parkland
for sports and leisure. This will include 2 major
parks, neighbourhood greens and playing pitches.
Adamstown train station is located at
a point that best services the needs
of the entire community and takes
commuters to Heuston station in just
14 minutes.

Park and ride facilities are located beside the
Adamstown train station and the existing rail
lines are currently being upgraded to a four track
system with capacity for 8,000 passengers during
peak hours.
The Adamstown link road is complete, allowing
residents direct access to the outer ring road
connecting to the N4 & N7. A quality bus corridor
is located along the link road and will be extended
through Adamstown. The LUAS light rail service has
also been proposed to terminate at Superquinn,
Lucan within minutes walk of The Paddocks.
